The hotel itself seemed really good, but the night we arrived I checked four rooms to see whether the air conditioning worked, and none of them was okay. Then I found the shower head was broken when I went to shower.

The staff were welcoming and ready to help without complaining, and the hotel has plenty of room, a clean restaurant, and a peaceful, safe feel. It’s also close to shops, restaurants, and other things you might need. A good fit if those are what you’re looking for.

I usually come to NYUMBANI HOTELS & RESORTS for the gym, swimming, and especially dinner. There’s also a pool, restaurant, and bar, and it feels like home. The place is by the sea, with lovely ocean views and both sunrise and sunset. It works for a visit with family, friends, a partner, or on your own.

The washrooms were so dirty and smelly that we couldn’t use them, and we had to leave in wet clothes. The pool was in terrible shape too, with murky brown water, bugs, and a slimy floor that was awful to stand on. The condition of the pool and facilities showed a serious lack of hygiene and maintenance.

The room was tidy, though small, and the decor looked dated. Breakfast was okay but had little variety, and the basic amenities didn’t add much. Street noise bothered us at night. Nyumbani Hotel is handy and affordable, with friendly staff and an easy check-in, so it could work for a short stay.
