It's a lovely stretch of beach for a walk, with an area where you can swim safely. I stopped by for a fabulous lunch at the restaurant, which sits on the sand overlooking the Indian Ocean. At low tide, you can see the reefs and sandbank islands, a lovely view to enjoy with lunch or a drink.

The Tides lodge is on the edge of Ushongo's white sand beaches, with good food, beach access, family cottages, and one luxury villa. If you're after quality, this lodge delivers. It's close to Sadaani national park and a good base for exploring The Swahili Wild beaches and deserted coastline.

The staff and food are both amazing, and the place is fantastic. They really do offer a 5 star experience. Definitely a must, and the best hotel in Ushongo Pangani.

Just an amazing place to be, with a very clean beachfront and no hustling hawkers. It's a great spot to get away from the hectic city life and unwind.
