The location is great, but several services listed, like free parking, weren't actually available. What I found was Wi-Fi, a bathroom, and a bed. They really need to improve things.

My experience wasn't good. The room and bed were very narrow, and although they offered cheap rooms, mine was on the terrace on the third floor. All I could see was the surrounding rooftops.

The rooftop is a nice place for breakfast, with fresh fruit, fresh mandazi, and great African coffee from AfriCafe. You can look out over local life in Stone Town from up there. The lodge has an old, vintage feel, with single, double, and triple rooms and shared bathrooms. It's right in the center, which works well if you want to explore the narrow lanes and alleys on foot.

Near the market at Majestic Cinema, this guest house has a nice view and full security. It's in Stone Town on Zanzibar Island, and I think you'll love the place when you arrive. It's really lovely.
