The rooms and grounds were really nice, and the staff and management were faultless. It was very affordable, too. Some of the food was disappointing and much of the menu wasn’t available, though it was the off season. The car park could use a tidy-up since it’s the first thing you see. I’d come back, and wouldn’t let the car park or nearby buildings put me off.

The pool and garden were lovely, and Stone Town was an easy tuk-tuk ride away. My room was huge and had a great ocean view. I had a very nice stay. I’d have liked a few more vegetarian or vegan choices on the menu, though.

I can hear myself breathe here, the air feels so fresh. I love this place. Four days just isn’t enough, and The Oxygen has a different feel to it. I’m coming back next year.

A nice ocean view and a melodious live band made this feel like a lovely getaway.

We go there regularly to swim and play in the pool. It’s great for kids to play and for adults to swim.
