The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with good air conditioning, and the housekeeping did a wonderful job. The gardens were well maintained too. I really enjoyed the food, with plenty of variety and a different theme each evening, along with lovely drinks and daily entertainment. The restaurant staff and chefs at the cooking stations were lovely and always smiling. Jackline was a star, though the restaurant manager should stop shouting at staff, especially in front of guests. The front office team, Vumilia, Happy, Magret, and Ally, were all friendly and helpful. Steve was a great manager, humble and willing to help with bags alongside the team. He led by example, spoke kindly to guests and staff, and seemed to make the staff comfortable around him. The hotel has a relaxing feel, lovely sunset views, and a fantastic beach with a nice clubhouse restaurant and good food. You can get a golf cart at reception to go there, and there are fun things to do like kayaking and swimming. John was very helpful. It’s centrally located, the facilities were top class, and I made unforgettable memories. I’m already looking forward to coming back.

The food was excellent, with plenty of choice every day, and meals became something we looked forward to. The staff were great throughout, and the manager, who used to work at Diamonds Mapenzi, was especially welcoming and clearly kept things well organized. There’s no direct access to the beach because the resort sits high on the cliffs. But the lower pools have sand around them, which gave us a beach feel without crowds, and worked perfectly for us. Families are well catered for, with a kids corner, excellent nannies, and three pools that are all good for children. It made it easy for parents to relax or go play golf. Beautiful setting and a relaxed atmosphere. We’d definitely come back.

Aidani and Jovina made our stay memorable. We found not just excellent service, but two real friends in them. They were so kind and professional. The whole team was friendly, polite, smiling, and ready to help with any problem at any time. We had a wonderful stay at Sea Cliff Resort & Spa Zanzibar, and will definitely return.

I especially enjoyed the range of sports and activities: a lovely golf course, tennis and squash courts, pickleball, sailing, horse riding, and a great spa. Padel is coming soon too. It really feels like there’s something for everyone. The rooms have Zanzibar charm, and the recently refurbished bathrooms were a welcome improvement. From arrival, the staff were attentive and friendly, making us feel genuinely cared for. Sea Cliff Resort & Spa, Zanzibar was a wonderful place to stay.

We felt welcomed and had a much more comfortable stay thanks to Abbass and Laurent. Abbass was professional, kind, and attentive, always smiling and checking in at every table. He speaks English, German, Italian, and Arabic. We had difficulties from the first day and considered leaving, but his dedication and genuine effort to make us happy convinced us to stay. He looked after us the whole time and even gave me personal advice for my stomach pain. Laurent was also always smiling and available, and his excellent French helped us a lot. We’re grateful to Manager Steff for the kind commercial gesture. The whole team helped make the visit memorable, and we’d definitely recommend the hotel. Our stay: from 20/01/2026 to 27/01/2026.
