Our honeymoon at Ycona Luxury Resort was a once-in-a-lifetime luxury stay for my husband and me. The serene, special atmosphere and hospitality exceeded our expectations. When I got severely burnt, they responded quickly and attentively, called the doctor who was on site, and he came to give me medicine. I was fine afterward. From arrival onward, everything felt flawless. The resort was very clean, beautifully maintained, and fresh and peaceful throughout. Our villa was spotless and thoughtfully prepared, and it was clear they take pride in maintaining high standards. Every staff member was warm, professional, and attentive, with care for every detail that made us feel welcome and looked after. We're grateful for the memories and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a true luxury experience and exceptional service.

The meals were another highlight: beautifully presented breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, all prepared with care. Breakfast was especially impressive, with fresh tropical fruits and gourmet choices served thoughtfully. The staff are the heart of the place, warm, attentive, and ready to help with requests. Their care made the stay personal and effortless. To me, Ycona is a serene escape where nature, elegance, and hospitality come together. It's my hidden gem in East Africa, and I can't wait to return.

They gave us a nice balance of daytime adventure and returning to comfort and calm. The restaurants were top-notch too, with excellent service and interesting, well-prepared dishes that felt more carefully chosen than standard resort food. We arrived at Ycona Luxury Resort hoping for a few restful days and left feeling we'd experienced the best of Zanzibar. Mornings meant a pool swim, then a short walk to the nearby beach for warm water, palm trees, and complete peace. Service was attentive and professional, with genuine smiles, and never intrusive. We had a memorable stay in a beautiful setting that felt both premium and relaxed. We can't wait to return.
