The beaches are lovely and only about seven minutes away. The stay itself was more like a motel than a hotel, with Soviet-style service. The rooms were very dirty and had no windows, and there was no room cleaning during the week. Apparently that service just isn't available, so you have to accept it. Even clear water was expensive, and dealing with the director was unpleasant.

The apartment was okay, though not very clean by our standards and not worth the price. What really made this a disappointing stay was the communication with the owner. We had paid for two days in advance, but when he saw our family, including our daughter who uses a wheelchair, he wanted us to pay for all eight days. We hadn't known there was a railway between the complex and the Black Sea, and crossing it easily isn't possible. Once we saw the tracks, we understood why he wanted the full amount before we even got to the beach. It would take something like a triathlon to get across.
