My mom and I had the hotel to ourselves for all five days, and we had a wonderful time. Natalia, the owner, is friendly and really attentive to guests. At Marmelada, they even picked us up by car so we didn't have to drag our bags through the heat or search for the place in winding streets. There's a kitchen for cooking, and the room had a fridge, air conditioning, and a TV, all working. We went at the start of summer, and the sea was clean and uncrowded, just right. I'd spent several days comparing hotels by their reviews, photos, location, and amenities, and I'm very happy with everything.
A relaxed two to three minute walk gets you to the sea, and the staff are friendly. We stayed in August 2017, since we couldn't get away last year, and really liked the place. It's beautiful, cozy, and clean, with kitchen utensils available. When we plan a trip, we look for a good hotel within walking distance of the sea, and this one fit. We'll definitely come again, and we're planning another visit this year.
We went at the end of April last year and worried the weather would be cold. It was fine overall, though one day brought heavy rain. We arrived around 5 PM and were checked in straight away. The room was clean with new furniture, and it looked recently renovated. The hotel was quite nice, the grounds were small, and the beach was very close.
My boyfriend and I had our first holiday together, and I arranged the whole trip myself. The room was nice, with a great double bed, and we barbecued every day using a grill we borrowed from Natasha, the owner. We met some guys from Kyiv too. Shout out to the Gavrilenki family! I'd love to come back, but for at least two weeks.
