Guest House Bonjour

The breakfast was good, the coffee delicious, and the woman who brought it was very attentive. But Bonjour Guesthouse has changed since last year: it now has two owners and is split into two parts, with different staff and menus. It felt less comfortable than before, and we got hurried along when we asked about something for Bonjour Life. We used to be able to order dishes like potato pancakes, pancakes, pasta, and roast for lunch or dinner, but those options were already on the menu. This time we couldn't find anything that suited us, so we went into town. They initially gave us a first-floor room without a balcony even though we'd booked one. After a long discussion and a call to the administrator, they sorted it out.

The room had everything I needed, towels were cleaned every day, and there were bed nets and even a fumigator, which matters. The staff were great, and the hotel itself was superb. There are a few architectural flaws, but they've covered up what they could; the rest will be finished. Even if they never finish it, it still has its own charm. Come for the food too, the breakfasts beat my mother-in-law's. I just wish Berdyansk itself were improved enough to make people want to visit and keep coming back to this hotel.

The breakfast was homemade, the room was perfectly clean, and the staff were friendly. I liked the cozy design, though I know it's a matter of taste. The blackout curtains were especially important to me, and I'll return. If I lived nearby, I'd book the room and hallways as a photo studio. I honestly can't think of a more atmospheric place in Berdyansk. Next time I'll bring my camera and take some wow shots.

The interiors are stunning, with so much care given to the details. Staff were warm and pleasant, the rooms were cleaned thoroughly, and breakfast portions were generous. Easily the best hotel I've seen on the Azov Sea coast. I recommend it.
