The style is pretty classic fancy communist, and the hotel sits in a suburb well away from central Kyiv, about an hour’s trip in rush hour. Still, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and there were plenty of towels. They offered breakfast in the room, though the restaurant wasn’t open for it. I had a decent espresso in the upstairs lobby instead. I wanted for nothing, and for the price this is an incredible deal for a night or two. I’d highly recommend it.
