Chaban Aparthotel

Choban Apart was a dangerous, misleading stay for our family. We were there with children aged 4 and 6, and the conditions felt unsafe. The rooms were worn and dirty, with broken furniture, strong drafts, and large gaps around the entrance door. There was no sound or heat insulation. Beds were faulty, furniture was falling apart, and the bathroom had broken parts with metal sticking out. Some electrical sockets were damaged too. The website lists a sauna, but the administrator said it couldn’t be used because of water problems. There was no clear information about whether the pool was paid. When I asked if it was included, I was told, “And how did you get that it is free?”, even though the website didn’t say there was a charge. The administrator admitted he knew about the hotel’s condition, but rooms were still being sold at high prices. When I asked for compensation for our ruined vacation, I was told I’d have to pay extra to change rooms, though they said they “made an exception.” The photos in the ad didn’t match reality. I definitely don’t recommend this place, especially for families with children.

We had delicious, filling breakfasts and dinners, and the hotel was very convenient for skiing, close to lifts 1, 2, and 7. Special thanks to administrator Pavel, the girls, and the kitchen workers. We liked everything about our comfortable stay. The hotel’s price and quality were a 5/5, and it’s a place I’d like to return to more than once. We stayed in January 2026. Thank you!

I stayed from 28.01 to 01.02 and would recommend the hotel. It’s right in the center, with clean, warm rooms, and the price includes incredible breakfasts and tasty dinners. There’s a transfer to the lift, and a lovely recreation area with a beautiful view beside the hotel. Administrator Petro is a wonderful person who’ll explain everything. The service is top level for the price.

The hotel made a good impression, and we recommend it. It’s very close to the first lift, with a ski room where you can leave your equipment. The hotel has a generator, so we didn’t notice the power cuts at all. Our room was warm and clean, check-in was quick, and the administrator was friendly. The two meals a day were good and tasty. The only thing we wished for was an earlier breakfast, maybe at 7:30, because we couldn’t make the 8:30 lift.
