Very pretty place, with excellent hospitality and services that met expectations. Daily sanitizing keeps it exceptionally clean. The hostel rooms have what you need, including a fridge, several kettles, lockers, cupboards, and an oven.

The staff were polite and kind, and the building looked new or renovated. The room had a fridge and safe. Still, this is a fair hotel, not a particularly good one. The biggest issue for me was the restaurant kitchen. Ingredients seemed cheap and low quality. I ordered a medium-well steak and got a burnt, salty, very well-done one. I asked for a replacement, waited 35 minutes, and got another steak just like the first. I couldn't eat the 11-euro meal. The vegetables were over-salted too. The room was too hot, and the climate controls made no difference. Power went out three times in one evening. Sound insulation was poor, so I could hear people in the corridor, talking through the wall, and even snoring. Management seems inexperienced in the hotel business, or unwilling to learn from mistakes.

We stayed four nights in rooms that were nice, new, and seemed to be good quality. Breakfast was included, with a few tasty options. We were promised a terrace for our room, but it turned out to be shared. We also had water problems on three days: no water on two days, and only cold water on another. The water looked a little brown.

We had a great family vacation. The room was fresh and very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant served delicious, high-class dishes at a very reasonable price. The room rate was among the lowest in Bukovel.
