Lavina Hotel

We had a wonderful stay. The manager speaks English and was really kind, making guests feel at home. The atmosphere is friendly, the prices are reasonable, and the rooms have what you need for a ski trip. The food was good and normally priced. There's a grill, and they'll gladly provide what you need for it. The spa has a small pool and a sauna. It's not included, but it doesn't cost much. There’s also ample parking and taxis to get you where you need to go. My only complaint was the water in the sink and shower.

The price was very good compared with other hotels in Bukovel at this time of year, especially considering the hotel's level, so that's why I gave it five stars. It's close to the center of Bukovel, has private parking, and is very clean, with a lovely building style. The rooms only had basic furniture, towels, and two cups. You'll need to bring your own shower gel, shampoo, and water. You can ask reception for a hair dryer, though if you're on the fourth floor you'll have to go downstairs to request anything. The staff were kind and gave us tea whenever we wanted, but could use hospitality training to run such a nice place. Having more items in the rooms would improve things a lot. Also, shoes have to be left by the hotel entrance, and you need to wear other slippers inside.

The interior and furniture are all wooden, which looks great. Just be aware that the water comes from a deep well and has some hydrogen sulfide in it.

The hosts were really welcoming, and the rooms felt cozy, with a lovely view. Good service for a fair price.
