We chose this cottage as a base for a family climb of Mt. Khomyak. The two-room apartment was clean and had everything we needed. It’s in a quiet spot, away from road noise, and the hostess was welcoming.

We liked our summer stay here and would consider coming back. The room was clean, with comfortable beds, and the owner and staff were friendly. There’s a kitchen for making your own meals, plus a refrigerator in the room; no meals are provided. Outside, the small grounds are well kept, with a barbecue for kebabs and a frame pool. It was too cool for us to swim. A few little things could use attention: the shower had too few shelves, the furniture felt dated, and the bathroom door wouldn’t close.

The rooms were cozy and clean, and the grounds were lovely, with beautiful views and no traffic noise. We used the place as a base for trips to Bukovel and Yaremche. The pool was too cold for us to swim, even though we’d said on the phone that swimming was our main priority. Once there, we were told that five-year-olds swim in it and are fine. We also felt uncomfortable in the kitchen: the owner watched, commented, and offered advice while we tried to cook our first course. At first, she didn’t want to open the dining room, so we had to carry our plates to the gazebo in the rain. The owner seemed very indignant about our wanting to cook. I wish the attitude toward guests were reconsidered. It left us feeling that we were expected to pay and only come back to sleep, since, as we were told, that’s what everyone does.

We had a lovely family stay, and the convenient location made it easy to get to many beautiful places. The views of the mountains from the windows were gorgeous, and the grounds were spacious and well cared for, with swings, a football area, a barbecue spot, and places to sit outside. The hostess even saw us playing football and pumped up the ball for us. Our room was roomy, beautifully decorated, and spotless. Any request was handled easily, and we could warm food even late at night. Breakfast and dinner were made at times that suited us. The food was delicious and the portions huge. Try the Bograch if you can. Tetyana was warm and attentive to the little details. When she heard that my father and husband were in the military, she offered us her famous Bograch. That was a very touching gesture, and we thanked her for it. We felt comfortable from the start and came away with wonderful impressions. We recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, comfortable stay and Carpathian hospitality.
