Viktan Hotel

We stayed four nights and were happy with it. The hosts were attentive and welcoming, and the rooms were clean and had everything we needed. The location is handy, with a shop, bathhouse, hot tub, spa, and restaurant nearby. We had breakfast there, and it was delicious, especially the pancakes 😍 We’ll come back!

The hotel itself is good, but our stay was uncomfortable. I was standing naked when the door opened and someone came into our room without permission, then started a discussion. If you’re coming to relax with a girlfriend or wife, be prepared for that possibility. The walls are thin and there’s basically no soundproofing.

The room was spotless, and the towels and sheets were lovely and white. The owners were very friendly and polite, and parking was no problem. There’s a shop on site with everything you need and more, including souvenirs like the ones at the market but much cheaper. The owners also sell mushrooms they’ve picked themselves, and they’re incredibly fragrant. There’s a spa complex and a rooftop pool with a great view that the girls will appreciate. Across the way is a small mountain for a walk, and it looks beautiful from the hotel at sunrise. Nearby, the kaliba serves a rowing soup I’ve never tasted anywhere else. We stayed on Sunday and really liked everything, and we have places to compare it with.

It’s convenient having everything together here, with the hotel, shop, nearby kolyba, and ski rental all in one place. A comfortable spot for a relaxing stay.
