Leoton Hotel

The room and corridors were clean, and the decor was quite nice. It's a decent hotel near the airport, but there were some issues: two guests got one towel each, and they weren't changed during the stay. There was no cleaning, and without a foot towel the bathroom floor stayed wet, which was unpleasant. The junior suite has no refrigerator, and the reception area looks more like a shop.

The location is the main plus. It's handy for a night before or after a flight, without the time and effort of getting to another hotel. The rooms are shabby in places, with old furniture, a tube TV, and very cheap bathroom fittings that are rusty in spots. It's neither especially dirty nor especially clean, and there's no restaurant or dining room, just tea and coffee. The soundproofing is terrible: you hear people in the hallway and doors opening and closing, even from other floors. During summer and fall 2017, renovation work meant cement smells and grinder noise. The staff also don't speak English.

The room didn't have a hairdryer, slippers, or mosquito screens on the windows, and there was just one set of towels for two adults. It smelled unpleasant, and the bathroom had hair on the walls. The shower kept dripping, and the car air freshener smell was so awful it made me feel sick 🫤. My brother's bed in the other room was uncomfortable and left his back hurting the next day. From 5 a.m. the cigarette smell was so strong we couldn't sleep, and the soundproofing was poor. The reality and price didn't match our expectations at all. I hope the administration looks into these problems and fixes what it can.

It's right by the airport, and I stayed in a standard room. The hotel is nice, though you can hear everything in the hallway through the door. I didn't notice any shops nearby, but reception sells basic drinks and snacks. Breakfast costs extra. They only take cash, so it's better to bring some, though there's a Pumb ATM nearby.
