Bike Hostel Dnepr

Nobody seems to know where this place is, and it's impossible to reach them by phone.

Stayed four days, and everything was fine. For a hostel, it's great: clean and tidy, with the railway and bus stations and a tram nearby. There's a nice park, an ATB opposite, and a little courtyard of its own. Fairly quiet too, with the amenities a traveler needs for a couple of days.

Thankfully, the place was clean, so I have no complaint about that. But we came to rest and didn't appreciate being criticized after just one day. We left the room tidy and collected the rubbish, which was all they asked us to do. I left a blanket on the bed and put the linens inside a pillowcase. The host scolded me, asking if I'd been taught to clean up after myself and whether I did that at home. Is that really normal? The sheets should be washed after each guest, and I shouldn't have to make the bed before they go straight into the washing machine. The other issue was the keys. The hostel was full of men, but we couldn't lock the room we'd paid for in full, and we weren't sharing it with anyone. When we asked for keys, the host acted surprised and said they don't usually give them out because everyone there is fine. In the morning he asked whether anyone had bothered us.

A budget-friendly option for a work trip to the city. It's clean, cozy, and affordable, with a supermarket and bus station close by. The pine trees make the courtyard really nice. There's no sign at the entrance, though, and the windows face a fairly busy street, so you'll want to shut them at night.
