The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was good. The decor looks old-fashioned, but that didn't bother me. The lack of heating did, though. They could have offered extra blankets or a portable heater. The staff were helpful, and the all-inclusive breakfast was fine. Parking wasn't secure: there are paid spaces out front if you can get the machines to work, plus an old-style ticket car park opposite. We ended up parking on the pavement along a side street.

The hotel itself was nice, clean and had large rooms. They'd even left a piece of chocolate on the pillow. The front desk staff were very open and spoke English, and the location was good. We arrived late and went to the restaurant for dinner around 9:30 PM, before its 10 PM closing time. The waiter didn't seem happy to serve us then, and it showed in the way she treated us.

The included breakfast was enough to keep us full until lunch. The staff were really polite, and when I asked for a kettle because there wasn't one in the room, they brought one with cups. I stayed with my family in this comfortable hotel in the heart of Dnipro. We had an early check-in and check-out free of charge, and found the room already thoughtfully prepared, with an extra bed for our child and even a small bathrobe. It had a medieval look, but also air conditioning, a hair dryer, decent Wi-Fi and two flat-screen TVs.

I tried to phone the hotel to book a room for a client, but the receptionist didn't speak English and I don't speak Ukrainian. It's unfortunate that a five-star hotel can't provide service in English. You lost a customer.

The service was quite good, and the hotel is in a very good location. Still, I think it needs renovation, and I wouldn't rate it five stars. The breakfast was basic and definitely didn't feel like five-star quality.
