The worst part was the response from the administration. They were formal when we raised our concerns, and I didn't feel they made a real effort to fix anything. The stay was a huge disappointment. The pool water was dirty and it didn't seem to get enough care. The breakfast was also awful, cold and so tasteless that some dishes were impossible to eat. Inside, the house was very cold without warm clothes; staff said they'd bring heaters after we mentioned it, but none arrived. There was barely any hot water on the second floor, and water supply problems kept coming up elsewhere too. The renovation is badly outdated, and the website photos give a much better impression than the place itself. At this price, we expected basic comfort and service. The value for money just isn't there, since much better places with decent service and comfort are available for the same amount. I won't come back and can't recommend it.

We rented the whole house, but after climbing we had to queue for showers. Out of several showers, only one had hot water for all seven of us, and upstairs there was hardly any water pressure, let alone hot water. It was terribly cold inside. The administration didn't seem interested in sorting that out. The pool didn't help, since it was almost always closed and was dirty anyway. Our stay left us with nothing but bad impressions. If you want to ruin your vacation, come here.)

The kitchen staff were friendly, but for what we paid, the stay just wasn't worth it. I come to this region often and have plenty to compare it with. We rented the whole house for 24 thousand UAH per minute, yet after a 10-hour hike all seven of us queued for the one shower with hot water. Upstairs there was no hot or cold water, and there was a spider in the shower. We couldn't get warm either: there was no heating, and nobody brought a heater after we asked, so my friends and I slept in fleece suits. Breakfast was an egg, cheese, and sausage, the cheap kind with that slightly rubbery taste, you know? The coffee drink didn't really taste like coffee, more like the grounds had been shaken around. By the way, the Booking.com reservation was canceled. Why would that be? I didn't like the place and wouldn't recommend it.

The hosts were thoughtful and friendly, always ready to help, and the cottage felt peaceful and homey. It was clean, warm, and very cozy, with all the little things taken care of for a comfortable stay. Around it, there was wonderful quiet, fresh mountain air, and lovely views. The view from the window was especially beautiful in winter with everything covered in snow. Just what I needed to properly recharge. I'd gladly return, and recommend it to anyone looking for a calm, comfortable mountain break. ❤️🏔️
