Gubernia

I’ve stayed here many times, but today, when I called to book a room, the concierge started being rude to me. The rooms are always dirty, and they’ll screw you over too. They told me, “If you don’t like our hotel, find another one.” I don’t recommend it!

The location is amazing, in a quiet and peaceful area, and the rooms are cozy and comfortable. They’re cleaned and the bed linens changed regularly, every five days. The staff are very kind and helpful, especially at reception. I liked everything and would recommend it to everyone.

I don’t recommend this hotel. The prices are inflated, and they don’t seem to care about guests’ basic comfort. There’s no kettle in the room, apparently that isn’t provided, so you have to go to reception for coffee. Smoking after 11 pm is practically impossible because the street door is locked earlier. If you go out for a smoke then, staff reprimand you and make you feel like a hospital patient or prisoner with limited rights, not a paying guest. Even taking a shower is a quest, with water leaking from under the shower tray. There’s plenty more I could write against the hotel.

The rooms are cozy and comfortable, and the prices fit my budget. There’s separate gated parking, which is really convenient. I’ve stayed at the Gubernia Hotel more than once, and they always welcome me warmly. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially the receptionists when you ask for something. They clean daily when I request it, and are accommodating whenever I need the room cleaned. Wishing you prosperity.
