Hotel Nart

We wanted breakfast before checking out, but only found out when we called reception at 11:30 that it ended at 11:00. Nobody had warned us. At least they were kind enough to give us something, a couple of eggs, bread, butter, and tea or coffee. This was on August 30, 2020. For a double room, breakfast was included for just one person, with another 60 UAH charged for the second. Two weeks earlier, a different manager had included breakfast for both. I'd suggest the owners leave contact details so guests can get answers more quickly. I don't want to return and find that things have "changed" again with a new manager.

The bed was comfortable and the hot water worked, which is why I'm giving it one star. Breakfast is available, but when we booked a double room through Booking.com, we were told the second person's breakfast would cost extra. The room felt very worn. We stayed three days, and with the window open we could smell cigarettes despite the notice warning of a 1,000 UAH fine. The TV was small and only picked up 5-7 channels. The bathroom was awful: broken toilet seat, moldy silicone around the bathtub, a leaking shower, and the towel holder all the way across the room. Staff talked loudly to each other in the hallway late at night and early in the morning, with no regard for the guests. Think twice before booking.

There was just one robe, one slipper, and one towel in our double room. The net curtains had holes, and there weren't any proper curtains. The room was dirty and smelled bad, with mold in the bathroom. Although breakfast was supposed to be included, they said we had to pay extra, and the payment terminal wasn't working. I wouldn't recommend it.

The room was nice and clean, with air conditioning and a small fridge. Breakfast was served in the morning. They provided two robes, two towels, slippers, and disposable shower gel, soap, and shampoo.
