Hotel Yar

We had a great time in Aqua Zone 1. The pool water was clean and refreshing, and the staff were friendly and polite. There was also a separate table and umbrella for smokers. Five out of five from me, and I'll recommend it to my friends.

The steam room was the one decent part of the sauna. I can't say anything about the hotel rooms, but the sauna was a huge letdown. It was great last year, and now it's awful. There's a damp, unpleasant smell as soon as you enter, and it gets worse in the shower and pool room, where it smells like sewage or mold. Mold is spread across the floor and every window, as you can see in the photo. The price feels a bit steep for this kind of break.

I really enjoyed the sauna. Special thanks to the administrator, Oksana, whose professionalism stood out when she handled conflicts caused by some employees' incompetence. She deserves particular recognition. Thank you.

Parking was the main thing that bothered me. There were only a couple of shallow spaces beside a fairly busy road, so loading and unloading the trunk was awkward, with the back of the car sticking into traffic. Speeding drivers set off the alarm several times during the night. Next time I'd look for somewhere quieter to park. I stayed overnight after a long trip and found the room spacious, luxurious, newly renovated, and clean. The receptionist was friendly, and it was a nice place to rest. There was a TV, but nothing worth watching, just trash.
