OVIS Hotel

The food was tasty, and the lobby bar felt cozy, with dim lighting and friendly staff. Our room was quiet and had a modern design, looking either onto the yard parking area or Gagarin avenue. We could barely hear the airport.

The main drawback for me was the breakfast menu and set lunches. The rooms are cozy, though only modestly stocked with toiletries, and there's no kettle or coffee maker. It's a modern hotel near the airport, but also a little too close to the highway. Getting to the city center takes about 20 minutes by car. A solid 3+.

I've stayed here twice, and both visits were really nice. The place is smart, clean, and comfortable. Food is very good and, for someone coming from england, exceptionally good value. Wi-Fi is free, fast, and reliable, with Speedtest showing 3ms and 60mbit. It's also a pleasant 20-minute walk from the airport, even in the snow. For the price, I wouldn't look elsewhere now.

The staff are what make OVIS stand out. They work hard around the clock and are always ready to help, and Julia speaks extremely good English. I'd like to thank them for our stay. I do think OVIS managment should support English lessons for all the staff, as a way to recognize their work and help customer service. The location is very convenient for Kharkiv Airport, parking is easy, and it suits business or social stays. The rooms are spacious, with AC, windows that open, and lots of soft pillows. There's easy access to the pool, spa, and feeding, where the steak and salad is great. Kharkiv is a beautiful city with good local restaurants, and Arizona Swimming & leasure pool is fantastic. OVIS has everything you need. Thanks again, and I hope to return.
