Hotel Maramorosh

A lovely, clean place, and the staff are hospitable. It feels homey.

The pool has mountain views, and you can also spend time at the lake, riding catamarans, fishing, or swimming. There’s plenty to explore nearby too, from climbing Mount Shayan to visiting the health pools at Tepli Vody in neighboring Velyatino. We stayed in August 2025. We’re from Dnipro, and this was our second time in Shayan. The hotel’s photos had charmed us, and the real place lived up to them, with lovely views, a well-kept property, tasty food, and welcoming staff. Breakfast and dinner are included, and the servings were so generous that we sometimes had food left over. There’s a shop close by, which is handy since the village center is a couple of kilometers away. We enjoyed our stay and recommend it. Thanks for making us feel so welcome. The hotel gave our vacation some lovely memories.

The staff were friendly, and the rooms were clean, though a little dated. There’s a refrigerator but no electric kettle, and the bed linen was fresh and white. We stayed three nights. The pool floor was dirty, something you can’t tell from visitors’ photos, so keep that in mind. The dinners weren’t very good, and some people skipped them. They seem to cook for more guests than they can serve in the restaurant, so when we tried to order dinner, there was nothing available. The playground needs repairs, so watch your children there.

We spent a family vacation here in July 2025 and liked the location, clean rooms, and the sense of security. The services felt like good value for the price. We’ll come back. Wishing the place prosperity.
