Really nice!!!!

The hotel looks attractive and is in a good location, but the photos are tempting and don’t match the reality. The plumbing has seen better days, though it works, and there’s hot water and toilet paper. The furniture isn’t bad. There were two glasses in the room, but no tea, kettle, dishes, or hairdryer. We asked at the bar for dishes and got one. The room feels shabby and dark, with just one working light bulb even though the fixture has space for two. There’s no bedside light. I asked for one and got a table lamp, but no extension cord, so it ended up on a folding chair by one of the two outlets, neither of which is near the bed. The pillows were lumpy, and there wasn’t a blanket on the bed, which seems odd for November. There is heating, but it doesn’t seem to work. The bathroom was barely warm, around 20 degrees, and the room itself was only just passable. Mr. Yvon, the administrator, was willing to provide missing things when asked, but cleanliness deserves only a 2. The cleaner and café employee were attentive and ready to help, and I’m grateful to them. The hotel looks beautiful from outside, and the location is good.

I don’t recommend it. The rooms were dirty, full of spiders and bugs, and the shower was broken. When we told the administrator, he said it was supposed to be that way. He was drunk throughout all five days of my stay. Drunk guests ran through the corridors and tried to force their way into every room, which frightened our children badly.

We spent four days here with our daughter, and won’t come back. The food was either burnt or oversalted, and the room was filthy and moldy, with cobwebs and bugs crawling on the beds and floor. Nobody cleaned it during our stay. When we asked the administration to move us, they said there was nothing they could do because no rooms were available. The administration was unreasonable and walked around drunk. These were terrible conditions, and I can’t recommend the hotel.
