Teremok Guest House

We stayed at Teremka from January 25 to 29, 2026, in a house meant for 9 people. There were four adults and three small children. I always choose accommodation based on reviews, and Booking had good ones, but now I understand how genuine reviews can fail to get posted. Maybe this will save someone else’s holiday. We were told over the phone by Maria, who was very kind at the time, that water, heat and generators would all be provided. She said they had three generators and that we shouldn’t worry. Once we arrived, though, we were abruptly given a list of restrictions that I think should be discussed before booking, since many people won’t like them. We asked to use our own multicooker because of the children and were charged an extra 500 UAH per day, and only during periods when state electricity was available. When we asked to get an extremely dull knife sharpened, a drunk man shouted that he didn’t have 10 hands. We also asked where the backup lights were switched on during outages and were told we should have brought flashlights. On the first evening, there was no water from the tap and we asked what we were supposed to wash with. We got swear words, then a fight, because Maria and owner Yuriy were already drunk and decided to show the new arrivals who was in charge. They wouldn’t start the generator for us, despite the agreement that water would always be hot during blackouts. Maria came into the house every day, shouting, changing the rules and repeatedly demanding money for no reason. She kept saying it was all hers and she could do whatever she wanted. On our first day, we took the rug from beside the toilet outside because of its smell. During our five days, nobody asked if we were okay or needed anything. They only demanded money. We had to beg for garbage bags, and thankfully we had our own toilet paper in the car. It’s very easy to book a place here in peak season, and now I see why there are no people around. I hope this was the first and last time I have an experience like this. Wishing everyone peaceful skies and a happy holiday!

The owners even sorted out a place for our skis at the rental shop next door, so we didn’t have to carry them uphill from the house every time. There are several inexpensive rental shops near the hotel, besides the one directly from Krasiya. We were also allowed to stay a few extra hours after checkout since nobody else was arriving that day. For a small price, the service was far beyond what we expected. The room was lovely, well soundproofed and had incredible views, and the food was delicious. You can also arrange a low-cost transfer from the station. Absolutely recommend!

We stayed in January 2026 with our two children, and of all the places on Krasiya, this was the best option for us. There’s parking, and since it’s right under the road, you don’t have to walk up the mountain like you do at other hotels. The owners cook the food themselves, and it costs less than everywhere else. I’ll remember the view from our window for a long time. The room was spacious and had everything we needed, and there’s a lovely bathhouse on site. We’re already planning our next ski trip, and we’ll be staying here again ❤️

We had a lovely stay with the family. The apartments are spacious, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The cooking is home-style, with all the meals ready, so there’s no need to think about breakfast, lunch or dinner. There’s also a bathhouse just a couple of meters from the houses. Equipment rental is a 2-minute walk from the house, and the ski lift is about 5 minutes away. I recommend it!
