Aqua Vita - Zhyva Voda

The pool was clean and great, and the grounds looked lovely. Our room was comfortable and tidy, and the food was delicious, made with high-quality ingredients. We had such a nice time at Zhiva Voda and came away with wonderful memories. Thank you for a fantastic vacation! 🩷

The meals were generally tasty, though they forgot to bring us the fish and lemonade. The place looks luxurious at first glance, maybe it used to be, but the grounds are neglected, with weeds growing on the tennis court and two gazebos left dirty among the weeds. The children's playground is falling apart too: the boards on the slide have rotted, so it isn't safe. The pool was green and impossible to swim in, yet we were told it was fine to use. Our room cost 2700 and had no air conditioning. It was very dirty, with spiders and cobwebs. The mattress and bedspread were stained, the sheets were worn out, there was hair on the pillows, and the blankets were threadbare. For four people, we got only one set of soap and shampoo. The bed squeaked as if people were running marathons on it every day. Some furniture was broken, and there was no hot water in the evening or the morning. It feels like nobody plans to improve the hotel, and they just want to squeeze everything out of it before closing or selling it.

The owners don't seem interested in making any changes or looking after the grounds. Everything's falling apart now. It used to be the best hotel, but these days it's in decline.

There weren't many guests, which made the stay feel peaceful and was especially helpful during the pandemic. My two-year-old and I used the pool to cool off and really enjoyed it. We also liked the hotel itself. You can walk around the area or go exploring in Satanova, and there are driving trips to Khotyn, Kamianets-Podilskyi, or places in the Ternopil region, including Chortkiv, Tereboblia, and Chervonohadsky Castle. The roads on those routes aren't very good.
