The rooms were VERY cold, and there wasn’t a heater or even a kettle to make tea. The cafe Braty across the road was quite tasty, though. We paid either 500 or 900 UAH, and the only difference was that the pricier room was bigger and had a balcony. Both were just as cold. I don’t recommend it.

If the Braty restaurant happens to be open in the evening, you can ask for breakfast to be brought to your room the next morning. I’d recommend the eggs and cheesecakes. They won’t open the restaurant just for you unless your group is large, but the breakfast arrives warm. The hotel itself is tidy and private, though I’d call it a place to spend the night. As of December 2017, double rooms had gone up a little, starting at 280 UAH per room.

I don’t get all the positive reviews. The room was clean, sure, but sound carried straight through the walls, so you could hear everything in the neighboring rooms. The floors creaked and the doors slammed. Also, you have to hand the room key back. Not great.

You can almost get dropped right at the hotel entrance if you’re driving from Kalush or Frankivsk toward Stryi, and it’s also not far from the bus and railway stations. We found it a very nice, cozy place to stay and relax. The restaurant "Brothers" is opposite, with moderate prices, or you can pick up semi-finished food in the center and eat in your room. Our bathroom was combined. The double room didn’t have a fridge, microwave, or kettle, but the administrator can provide those if you ask.
