The automatic parking barrier at the back creaks loudly all day whenever minibuses go into the parking lot behind it. This has been going on for more than this year. Doesn’t the staff have any grease for the barrier?

Miss Arina and Miss Swetlana are sweet, kind and very helpful. They work so hard to look after every customer and help as much as they can. Management should appreciate them personally and hold them up as an example to the rest of the staff. God bless them.

The staff are unbelievably friendly and really make the place feel welcoming. The hotel is comfortable, clean and cheap, though the rooms have a 1970's feel that gave me a nostalgic moment with the tellies. There’s a gentlemans club next door, and restaurants across the street stay open until the early hours.

The reception staff are friendly, but the rest of the hotel feels completely USSR style, from the front desk to the cafe staff. The rooms are dated, basic and uncomfortable, with very low comfort overall. The bathroom was disgusting, with a dirty bathtub, and it took a while to get hot water. The breakfast buffet was terrible. The food had no taste, and everything felt served in a communist way. Skip breakfast and spend the money at a nice cafe instead. Still, western people might want to visit for a glimpse of how communist life once worked, and apparently still does in this building. It’s a gem of communist architecture.
