I only stayed for a night, but the apartment was modern and super clean. The price was very reasonable, and I had a nice view from my place. Staff were friendly too. It was about a 10-minute walk from the office to the apartment building. Thanks, I'll definitely stay there again when I'm back.

The location is handy, near Besarabsky Market and about a relaxed ten-minute walk from Khreshchatyk. The apartment is on the third floor of a building with an elevator, and its windows look onto Kropyvnytskyi Street, partly facing another building's wall. There are cafes nearby for coffee or breakfast. The kitchen has a small gas stove, fridge, kettle, oven, microwave, dishes, and washing machine. There is Wi-Fi, two air conditioners, and a TV. The bathroom has a water heater, an old hair dryer, and a jacuzzi that doesn't work. Hot water was available. The apartment needs renovation. Paint is peeling in both the living room and bedroom, the coffee table surface is damaged, there's a big crack in the kitchen ceiling, and both the fridge and the inside of the apartment door have large dents. Outlets to the right of the bed don't work, so when sharing the room one person can't use the bedside lamp or charge devices there. Cleanliness was a serious issue. There were wall stains, dust on the bedside lamps, and the kitchen furniture wasn't very clean. Worst of all, there are cockroaches. At night, turning on the kitchen light sends large ones scurrying away. It's awful, please get rid of them. No mosquito screens on the windows means flies and mosquitoes come in when you air the place out. The sound insulation is poor too, and you hear the neighbors clearly, so it depends on their manners. The listing mentioned a desk, but there isn't one. If you're working, you'd have to use the kitchen, with the cockroaches. We told them in advance we were a group of three, yet were given only two pairs of disposable slippers. The explanation was that the apartment is meant for two people. They also took a 1000 UAH security deposit, which I still hadn't received back after checkout. Given that deposit, it's strange nobody looks after the apartment's condition. To me, that shows little respect for guests.

Check-in and checkout were very easy. One thing to keep in mind: Kyiv apartments show the office address rather than the apartment's own address, so double-check the location if it matters to you. My apartment was close to the city center, in a well-kept, safe building. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the amenities all worked as expected.

The apartment felt like home, with plenty of space, AC, a comfortable bed, quality furniture, and a clean bathroom. The cleaning service during my stay was outstanding and better than I expected. The woman who checked me in was kind and sweet. I visit Kyiv from the US a couple of times a year and usually stay for months. Dayflat Apartment made things easy: after booking on booking.com, I could communicate with management in English through WhatsApp. They also worked with my requests, from payment options to cookware. Highly recommended, good people.

We booked four apartments through DayFlat Apartments, but there was no water during our stay. Our family arrived after a long flight from Europa and couldn't shower or use the toilet. The administration didn't seem to care, offered no apology, and only said it wasn't their fault. We even had to buy bottled water to brush our teeth that night. Our wedding was the next day, and we couldn't use proper sanitary facilities. Luckily, we changed hotels anyway. We know Ukraine and understand water outages can happen, and we rent apartments ourselves, but the way they treated us was crazy. It felt like they didn't care about guests' needs. We asked for a discount and got nothing. The service was very bad. Check-in was also a problem. They sent the wrong code, and we waited a long time for someone to come help.
