For a budget stay, this is good value. The rooms are small and the cleaning, especially in the bathroom, could be better. Still, if you mainly need a bed and aren't looking for high standards, it works well. The location is very nice and the receptionist was friendly.

The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the place is close to the city center. It's tucked into a courtyard, though, so it can be hard to find. The staff are usually helpful about leaving baggage, the laundry prices are reasonable, and the kitchen has all the equipment.

What stood out most to me was how honest the workers were. That felt especially refreshing after dealing with people elsewhere in Kiev who seemed to be trying to cheat you and get money from you. The rooms are clean, and the workers are polite and helpful, though the place looks better in the photos. Some rooms are downstairs, and there isn't a restaurant or a proper place to eat. If you're only looking for somewhere to sleep, it's a good choice. For extras such as a spa, you'd need to look elsewhere.

The hotel is modest, but comfortable and in a good area. I thought the price for what you get was better than expected. Room 16 on the ground floor was in good shape, as if it had been refurbished within the last 2 years. It was small, 22m2, plus a kitchen and bathroom with a shower. There was new airco, a tv, wifi, and a small but effective fridge. It's a clean, fairly new place in the middle of town without the extra frills or costs. The boxspring mattress really needs a thin padded topper. The kitchen was missing a water faucet or a microwave, so I took half a star off. By absolute standards I'd rate it 3 stars, but compared with places in its class, I'd give it 4.5. I settled on 4.0. Very decent.
