Grand Apartments

We spent 3 days in this apartment. The rooms were very clean, and the balcony was perfect for looking out at the beautiful street. It also has a very nice view. The location is amazing, close to everywhere you'd want to see in Kiev, and the hotel administration is genial and ready to help.

I really love this place. The apartments are spacious, very clean, and cozy, and you get a lot for the price. The layout has a lovely bedroom upstairs, with the kitchen, bathroom, and living room downstairs. WiFi is fast, and the location is perfect and very central. The receptionists are friendly and helpful with any questions. The entrance is a little hard to spot because it's not on the main road, but it's easy enough to find after the receptionists explain how to get there. I can really recommend it!

The apartment is really clean, just as the website says, and it's downtown. But the receptionists were rude and useless. I arrived around 10pm after a late flight, and the receptionist said she couldn't find me in their system, which turned out to be an “excel” file))). Then they tried to give me a one-bed room even though I'd booked a two-story duplex with two queen beds. They said I should have called first to check availability. Seriously, how am I supposed to call hotels from abroad? That's what booking.com is for. I'd messaged Grand Apartments to confirm my booking, but got no reply. If you don't check who booked your property on booking.com, why list it there? Three stars just for service. At least it really is clean!!!

We had everything we could have hoped for at Grand Apartments, in a beautifully appointed place and a great location for a very reasonable price. We had a two bed apartment, with double rooms and everything we needed, including air conditioning and TV’s in the main room and both bedrooms. It was spotless, and the staff were superb. There are plenty of shops close by, including a convenience store and a chemist. You can walk into town in about 20 minutes at a leisurely pace. It's about an hours walk from the central station, but easily reachable by Kiev’s fantastic public transport, including busses and the Metro. The nearest Metro station is about five minutes away on foot. We hope to visit Kiev soon and will definitely return to Grand Apartments if the price is similar.
