The views aren’t much, but the city centre is almost right there for sightseeing. I had a deluxe room for four nights and the value for money was unprecedented. The staff were friendly, and my room was clean and quiet. Many rooms have balconies. There’s a wide TV with satellite channels, and breakfast is brought to the room. You have to choose from a list of set breakfasts the evening before, and sometimes it arrives cold. There’s a microwave in the room if you need it. I’d stay here again.

This is an apartment complex with hotel services. For a competitive price, I got a very large room with a kitchenette, washing machine, and ironing board. Mine looked out onto the garden and was super quiet, which I preferred to the busy boulevard. The staff were really nice and helpful.

The staff are so friendly and speak English well, and the accommodation is comfortable, with apartment space and hotel comforts. The location is exceptional: there’s a great bakery next door, a big supermarket nearby, and the metro is just 350m away.

Booking this place online can feel like Russian roulette. I booked through booking.com, but no specific address was shown. They later sent me an address where I’d stayed before, and that property’s photos seem to be the ones most commonly posted online. When I went there, I found out the actual accommodation was somewhere else, almost 20 minutes away in peak Kyiv traffic. The real place was awful, with shared areas, including the stairs, looking worse than a refugee camp. They deliberately hide the proper addresses and actual photos, and the suppression of information is rampant. I cancelled, but the back and forth cost me more than an hour. My stay in Feb 2021 was decent, but now I think I was just lucky. They aren’t transparent, so I wouldn’t say this is a good choice to book online.
