Hotel Elegant

This was my second one-night stay, and I was very satisfied again. The room was clean and cozy, with everything I needed. The location is convenient, not far from the train station, and the administrator is friendly and always willing to help.

The station is about a 7-10 minute walk away, which is the only thing in this hotel's favor. The towels were damp, the shower had mold, and the bedding was stained and had hair on it. There was no remote for the air conditioner or slippers, and the tiled floor was cold. The window wouldn't open, the blinds were broken, and there was no soundproofing, so we heard guests checking in all evening. The blanket wasn't big enough for two, and we were cold all night. The minibar also made noise. I wouldn't recommend staying here, even for one night.

The hotel is small and cozy, with several nice cafes nearby. It's about seven minutes from the train station, a 5-7 minute walk from Universitet metro station, and the city center is easy to reach on foot. Our room had everything listed, including a TV, kettle, basic kitchenware, hairdryer, and toiletries. The refrigerator only seems to work for the minibar and doesn't cool things, but the receptionist let us use the shared fridge when we asked. They also held our suitcases so we could explore before leaving.

I won't be coming back. The towels were dirty and had someone else's hair on them, the bedding smelled stale, and at night we could hear mice scratching under the floor. The windows didn't shut properly after a nearby plane landed. Looking out at a bombed-out building where six people died was unsettling, especially with the thought that it might happen again given what's nearby.
