Mega Hostel

I don't recommend this place. They woke me at 5:45 to clean the room.

The buffet food was so bad I ended up scraping some off the pillow, just to get a little of my daily calories and protein. Please don't judge, I love sports and I'm a champion speed-eater of pussy-cakes, those mini sandwiches from the Isle of Man. We had to take a double room because we couldn't fit in a single. It had no window, barely any air with the door shut, and the mattress was covered in hair. I wasn't especially bothered by the hair, though.

The hot water on the second floor gave us a little trouble, but they sorted it out quickly. The staff were prompt, thanks to the administration. It's a good, affordable hostel only 30 meters from the train station, which makes getting to work really convenient. You can barely hear the trains at night. I had a positive stay and plan to come back.

The receptionists are surprisingly polite and tactful, and the price is affordable. There's a vending machine for sweets, fragrant coffee, and hot soup. Rooms are roomy and free of cockroaches, with clean bathrooms and comfortable showers. The kitchen is large, with a TV and a cozy sofa that feels like home. It's also close to a minibus stop, a shop, and hairdressers.
