It’s hard to call this a hostel. The place is completely unsanitary, with cockroaches and bedbugs everywhere. Rooms are cleaned just once a week with one foul-smelling rag. The administration takes no responsibility for cleanliness or order. The entrance doors are always open, anyone can wander through, and the administrator doesn’t keep track of who is inside. Most of the time he’s off doing personal errands like shopping or getting manicures, leaving the hostel unattended. My laptop was stolen while I was at work. A former tenant came in and broke open a locked locker. The administrator and a security guard were there, and I saw them sleeping. The administrator didn’t even call me or notify the police. What is the administrator there for, and what are we paying for? The sanitation is horrifying. Residents are constantly getting bitten by bedbugs, and I once walked into the kitchen to find around fifteen cockroaches in the sink. We tried to poison them, but the residents were affected first. For several days guests had red faces and inflamed eyes, were taking pills, and some even went to hospital with poisoning. The pests were left unharmed, and this happened more than once. The neighbors have complained too, since the poison reaches them as well. You’re poisoning people! Where are the city services? If you care about your health and belongings, find another hostel. For this price, you can easily get human conditions elsewhere. All the best.
