Raziotel Kyiv

There's not much in the surrounding area, so I wouldn't choose this hotel for a longer sightseeing trip. For an early flight, though, it works really well: it's near the highway straight to Boryspil airport, and breakfast and the airport ride are free. The hotel is clean and new, with small rooms, comfortable beds, and climate control you can adjust yourself. I'm taking off a star because they don't provide free water and charge five times the street price for it at the front desk.

A handy place if you're flying into or out of Ukraine, with a free airport shuttle. The rooms were modern, and the staff knew English and were really pleasant. Breakfast was of a good standard, and there's a bar and restaurant with reasonable prices.

Svetlana at reception was welcoming and pleasant. The hotel was clean, with contemporary decor, a comfortable bed, and good-quality linens. It has an internal restaurant with cordial staff and reasonable prices, though there's not much else to choose from nearby. Getting to the Kiev Metro System is easy.

The breakfast was excellent, and the restaurant and its service were good too. Staff were very helpful with directions and suggestions about the area. Letting the hotel arrange taxi rides through its own network, to and from the hotel, saves you a lot of money.
