It was a quiet, decent stay, but not the hotel experience I expected. The place is basically a hostel, though not the usual noisy, crowded kind. You get a private room and hardly see other guests. There's an older security woman at the entrance, while reception is tucked away on the third floor. I only saw it when checking in. Two rooms share a fridge, toilet, and shower. My room had a kettle, wardrobe, table and chair, clean towels, and a big bed. Kyiv's central heating wasn't on yet in early October, so I slept in a cold room. The location was okay. Four out of five.

The room was clean and quiet, in a mostly residential area, and getting around was easy. Buses run both ways along the main street near the entrance. A short walk along that street takes you to restaurants, cafes, food shops, bars, and a full-service grocery store. There are also two nice neighborhood kiosks and a coffee stop even closer. The nearest restaurant is just a few meters from the building, down stairs near the entrance. It serves traditional food at a fair price, with friendly service. The building sits on top of a hill, so walking down to explore the city in any direction gives you a bit of exercise. Overall, the rooming was quiet, clean, and efficient.

A nice place, though there's room to improve. The front desk guy was very helpful and even walked 15 minutes to bring me to the hotel. Don't expect much English, so use Google Translate.

Techno clubs Closer, K41, and Abo are fairly nearby. Lukyanivska metro station is close too, and Hlybochytska is about 400-500 meters away. Good spot.
