The common areas made a great first impression: a roomy kitchen and plenty of places to sit or watch movies, plus a separate lounge with a big TV and PlayStation. Everything was very clean, and the staff were welcoming. We were among the first guests, since the hostel had only been open for about two weeks, and it felt like joining a family. One young staff member, around 19, was especially friendly, though we’ve forgotten his name. We’d happily recommend the place and would love to return.

It felt more like a flop house than a hostel. The place was dark and very dirty, and the photos gave a different impression. The receptionist was unpleasant and seemed very reluctant when I asked to see the rooms. There was nowhere to put my suitcase, and the small locker for personal items looked badly worn. I also ended up with bedbug bites.

I came away with a warm impression of "We Hostel", and even got a magnet as a parting gift. It was fairly close to the city center, with good transport connections. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere felt cozy and homelike, and my neighbors were quiet. My room had its own bathroom, and each guest had a locker. The linens were clean and smelled fresh, towels were provided, and the room was cleaned twice a day. There was a shared kitchen with free tea and coffee and plenty of utensils. You could borrow an iron or hairdryer at reception, while slippers cost extra. It was my first time staying in a hostel, and I was pleasantly surprised.
