The price is hard to argue with, and the rooms are clean, there are lockers, and the staff are really helpful. Location’s great too. The main snag is the bathroom setup: there’s just one shower, and the second of the two toilets is in that same room, so there’s only one toilet or shower reliably available. They also couldn’t print things like PCR or travel tickets, which caused me trouble.

I found the place clean, including the kitchen, which I checked with a UV light. There were large lockers and fresh bed sheets, and I didn’t see any fleas or cockroaches. Ann, Olha and Sophia at reception were all very friendly and helpful. Drunk guests can make a night noisy sometimes, though in my experience it’s fairly easy to get them removed. That seems to be a common issue in Ukrainian hostels.

It’s a small hostel, but the people are really friendly. I got to meet travelers from lots of countries, and you should add your country to the world map there. :)

I’d rather not get into my whole stay. The short version is that you may face racism here if you’re not Ukrainian.

The staff and the other guests were great, and the price was good for what you get. It’s really near the centre too. I’d happily come back :)
