Emily Resort

I've been here several times and really like the place, but this stay was a bad room service experience. I was here for 5 days. On day two, I ordered two drinks through the QR code and waited an hour. A sandwich and another drink took an hour too. Today was the worst. After an hour, the order status said delivered, but nothing had arrived. I called the number they provided, and the girl said she'd look into it. Two hours later, I still had no reply and no drinks. This review is about this visit.

Emily has been my discovery this year. I'm so glad Ukraine has resorts like this. The staff are helpful in every area, and the food at each restaurant was tasty. The spa is excellent too, with a variety of treatments to envy. The whole hotel is clean and smells nice. I especially liked my spacious, clean room, with its terrace and lake view. Breakfast at Emily deserves a special mention: the selection was huge, everything delicious, and the best I've had. I can't remember seeing anything like it even at Turkish hotels. The team is very qualified and the service is great. I did find one flaw: the terrace wasn't cleaned when I arrived or during my stay. Dust on the table and chairs spoiled the room's otherwise clean impression. It's a pity, though I'm sure the staff will quickly sort out this misunderstanding.

We were really looking forward to a day at the pool. The website and social media said it had opened for summer earlier that week, but when we arrived, the pools and beaches were closed for the whole day. There was no explanation, warning, or suggestion for how to spend the day. The woman at the counter was cold with us the entire time. This place may look like an upscale resort, but I felt treated like I'd walked into some random motel. It's expensive and seems to care very little about its customers. Horrible customer service. Do not recommend.

The lake was filthy, like sewage, and the food was awful. The dishes cost a lot, while the pizza wasn't good at all. The beach and zoo were closed, so you couldn't get into all the places. Dirty, dirty, dirty. There's also a ridiculous club with music that's way too loud.
