Hostel Oskar

It’s an okay hostel for the price. The beds are soft and clean, and the maid was really nice. The woman at reception wasn’t openly rude, but she looked at us in a pretty disdainful way. The rooms have a very Soviet look, though that matters less when you just need a cheap place for the night. It’s very close to the train station, which is handy unless outside noise keeps you awake. There are only three sinks, two toilets, and two shower stalls. The locks are broken, and one door handle is loose. One shower is in an open area around a corner rather than in its own room. The other is in a tiny room, so getting undressed in there could be difficult if you’re thick. There’s fungus on the walls, and hot water comes from a boiler, so it can run out while you’re showering. The sockets are burnt, the wooden beds are chipped, and the dirty carpets have holes in them.
