Leon Hotel

Thanks for the service and the cozy room. It’s great that your hotel has different saunas with a swimming pool 😍

It was okay.

The room itself wasn’t bad, and the bed and bedding were clean, but I wouldn’t pay 4200 UAH for another three nights here. The bathroom smelled strongly of sewage, and the toilet and especially the shower hadn’t been washed properly. We badly needed disposable slippers for the room. I’d requested an iron when booking, but you could only borrow one from reception and had to return it right away. I couldn’t keep it for 3-4 days, which was inconvenient since I was on the 4th floor and had to keep going back and forth. When my food delivery arrived without utensils, I asked reception for a fork and spoon. A woman who worked there gave me some that were so dirty I felt disgusted picking them up. She told me to wash them, though of course I was going to do that anyway.

The cafe Kolyba served tasty, fresh food, and breakfast was included: coffee and a croissant. Staff were very friendly, the room was clean and cozy, and everything was new. They cleaned daily and replenished soap, shampoo and toilet paper. From the 4th floor, street noise was barely noticeable, and the roof view didn’t bother me. I was surprised there was no fridge or kettle, since those are standard for a junior suite and very useful. The cafe downstairs closes on weekends and only stays open until 6 pm on weekdays, so you need another way to get food.
