Lots of restaurants and a supermarket nearby, and the price is affordable. Good value for money, one of the best hostels in Lviv.

Pathetically horrible. The administrator was disgusting to deal with and seemed drug addicted. No washing machine, kitchen, or fridge.

Just a normal place.

The administrator made the stay awful. He was rude, interrupted conversations, and acted inappropriately. On one occasion, we came back and the key the owner had given us wouldn't open the door. We heard swearing inside and waited; the administrator opened it, shouted at us to turn the key halfway instead of all the way, then slammed the door in front of ten people. The hostel was cold, and when one girl took an extra blanket from an empty bed, he yelled at her and demanded it back. He also slept in our room in street clothes. At 8 a.m., with eleven people in the room, his phone rang and he started talking loudly while lying in bed. When I pointed out people were sleeping, he rudely said it was our problem because it was morning. They also moved new guests into beds our group had left the day before without changing the sheets in front of us. The setup itself is cramped: just two guest rooms, a narrow passage, no real hallway or lounge, and a single bathroom shared by 20-22 beds, if I remember right. Since the shower and toilet are together, the queues get huge in the morning and evening, with nowhere to wait. The so-called six-bed walk-through room actually has eight beds and leads into the kitchen, so people keep passing through and kitchen conversations carry straight into the room. There's barely a kitchen at all, and no tea or coffee. Beds were too soft, uncomfortable, and constantly creaky; the tiled floor was freezing, with only four to six pairs of slippers at most. For twelve beds there were just two nightstands, neither lockable, no lockers, and the only closet was locked for the administration's use. We were promised a ten-bed room but got a twelve-bed one, with strangers added. For a place with these conditions, the price didn't make sense. Using the toilet or shower properly was difficult, we kept shivering from the cold, and the receptionist's behavior and the gap between what we'd been promised and what we got left a disgusting impression. There was one bright spot: the owner was polite and welcoming. He checked us in, gave us towels, and asked several times if things were okay and how we were enjoying the stay. The location is convenient, close to the center, and getting there from the train station was a 15-minute tram ride followed by a three-minute walk from the stop. I strongly recommend avoiding this hostel.
