Panorama Hotel

The ribeye was the highlight of my meal at the Panorama Hotel Lviv restaurant. I ordered it medium-rare, and it was tender, juicy, full of flavor, and cooked just right. The meat seemed high quality, and the seasoning was spot-on. The potatoes and grilled vegetables were delicious too, with a nice fresh touch. I also loved the setting. The restaurant is on the top floor of the Panorama Hotel, with breathtaking views over the city. Inside, the decor was tasteful and the atmosphere comfortable and inviting. Service was top-notch: the staff were friendly and attentive, and my server knew the menu well and gave me excellent recommendations. The wine list was impressive, and the red wine the sommelier suggested went wonderfully with the steak. I had a memorable visit and would highly recommend this place to anyone coming to Lviv. As a steak enthusiast who appreciates a lovely setting and excellent service, I’ll definitely return on my next trip.

The restaurant on the 7th floor had a lovely view, especially in the mornings when the sun shone on us as we looked over Lviv and its beautiful ancient plaza in front of the opera house. I ate there for breakfast and a few dinners. Breakfast options were limited, but the food was very good, with excellent quality and presentation. The hotel’s city location is amazing, and I’d gladly stay again and recommend it. I was there for 5 nights. The service was very good, and most of the staff were friendly. The amenities were nice, and I used the gym twice. It’s decent for a small hotel and has nice equipment. WiFi worked well apart from a few hours in the conference room, which was frustrating because we really needed it for work. They got it working after 3-4 hours, and I appreciated that.

The view was the one nice part of our Christmas dinner. The food wasn’t what I’d expect from a fancy restaurant in the city center, especially for the prices. My beetroot soup had hard potatoes and hard meat in it, and the other dishes weren’t anything special either. The music was much too loud, and I had to ask twice for it to be turned down. It also felt more suited to a nightclub than an elegant restaurant. A very bad Christmas dinner experience. There are much better and cheaper places in Lviv, so I don’t recommend this one.

From street level, you wouldn’t guess the view is this good. Inside, Panorama Restaurant is very elegant, and our waitress was polite and fully professional. She spoke English without any problem. I ordered sorbet, carrot juice, and black current lemonade, and everything was perfect. I’d highly recommend stopping in for dessert.
