The breakfast was good, and the room itself was lovely: ours had a living room and bedroom, with plenty of space, AC, a fridge, an old TV, and a bathroom that felt like a 3-4 star hotel. Getting there was hard; outside, the property looked like the backyard of a private home, not a three star hotel. At arrival there were two parties downstairs and nobody at reception. The numbers from Booking and Google Maps didn’t work, so be aware. I searched the kitchen and everywhere else. After ten minutes, the receptionist appeared from another room, coming from the party, and seemed drunk. She said there were no parking spaces. Only after I got angry did we finally get “her permission” to park. The parking is about 100 m away on another property, and it wasn’t easy to deal with. Check-in and checkout were both poor experiences, and reception clearly needs better skills and knowledge.

We booked through Booking on 02/14/2026 while coming back from a business trip. At 23:59, after reaching the hotel, we called to ask how to get in and check in. The administrator told us there were no rooms left because everything had been rented out. Nobody called or warned us beforehand, leaving us to find somewhere to sleep in the middle of the night during curfew. I’ll complain wherever I can and to Booking, and ask them to remove this “substandard hotel” from their listings.

The worst part was what happened after breakfast: I ended up in hospital on a drip for three days after eating eggs and pancakes, and I’m still dealing with the effects and need more antibiotic treatment. The place was also noisy. In our junior suite the window faced the road, and traffic was loud from early morning, almost like cars were passing over my head. Other problems included a dead light bulb and torn curtains. The room was dusty and dirty, with a creaky old floor and an interior that may be old-fashioned, but only if that’s your taste. The shower controls were so inconvenient that I’d adjust them before getting undressed, or you’d be freezing by the time you got the temperature right. We booked two beds but got one extra bed and one blanket. The owner was unfriendly and seemed to be doing everything, from cooking to cleaning. It’s on the second floor, hard to haul bags up. Night check-in is possible, and they helped load and unload the suitcases. There’s a shower and toilet in the room, and the mattress was comfortable. The station is close, about five minutes by taxi, and my discounted app fare was 65 UAH. It cost 2000 UAH from three nights to 5 pm, and I’ve stayed in better places for the same price. They took a long time to answer messages, and there was no way to call. I don’t recommend this hotel or room.

Breakfast was tasty and ready right on time for the 8:00 order. The room was huge, with a separate heated balcony area, and the bed was good. The bathroom was fine too, though the shower tap was hard to turn on. We only needed a night’s stay and hadn’t expected much, but we liked it overall. It felt cozy, like visiting relatives.
