The staff were very friendly and ready to go the extra mile. When they saw someone arrive really late and likely miss breakfast, they offered to pack it. The hotel looks post-soviet, with cosmetic updates, and overall my stay was pretty good. Still, I wasn’t sure the room had been cleaned after the previous guests: there was hair on the pillow, a towel hanging on the battery, and dust on the surfaces. At breakfast, only 2 of the coffee machine’s 8 options worked.

The rooms have an old fashioned style, and the bathroom was very small. The air conditioning works fine. It’s far from the city center but close to the airport, about 20 minutes to the center and 10 minutes to the airport by taxi. There’s a big supermarket nearby. The main reason to stay here is the full Ukrainian breakfast.

The price and breakfast are okay, but you won’t get much sleep. People gather on the comfy couches around the rooms and talk loudly until 4AM, and cleaning staff were chatting loudly while cleaning the neighbor room at 8AM. Dogs barking at 6AM came through a window that wouldn’t close properly. The shower drain barely worked, and the toilet made leaking water noises the whole time.

We ended up here because our plane was canceled. The room was a bit small, and the bathroom had no air vent. The beds were comfortable, and breakfast was delicious.
