Wanted Hostel

It was just okay.

Being able to come and go at any hour was a real plus. There are good tram and bus connections in every direction nearby, and you can walk almost anywhere in 20-30 minutes. The hostel is in the historic center, with Town Hall about a 10-minute walk away. There’s even a health food shop across the street in the middle building. The price is reasonable, and booking directly is cheaper than using Booking.com. Double beds are available, which works for couples, especially those with small children. Wi-Fi is fast and free, and the interior is nice. This is my second trip to Lviv and my second time staying here. It’s always clean, which matters a lot to me. The showers and toilets all worked, and there’s a washing machine, though I didn’t need to use it. The kitchen has a fridge, kettle, toaster, electric stove, and plenty of dishes and cutlery, so making homemade borscht would be easy. It can feel a bit cool, especially in winter and particularly if you have small children. I didn’t notice that in May, though, and it wasn’t a deal-breaker.

There’s a lot within walking distance from this city-center hostel. The staff are clean and tidy? Welcoming, helpful, and friendly, and there are three bathrooms plus fairly spacious, cozy dining and sitting areas. It can be a bit noisy if that matters to you. Also, getting to the private double room means passing through a four-person room. It’s a hostel, baby. I highly recommend it.

We were happy with our stay and would recommend this cozy hotel. The view from the window is stunning, and its central spot makes it easy to get anywhere. My friend and I were there this week in a triple room. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was a little chilly, but the radiator warmed the room quickly.
