The mountains and river were just the change we needed after stuffy, restless Odessa. We were looking for somewhere peaceful and cozy, and this was exactly right. The hosts were welcoming, and Mr. Oleksandr helped us choose mountain routes and a way to the waterfall. We’d love to return next year.

We had a comfortable room beside a huge shared kitchen with everything we needed. The hosts were so thoughtful: while we were away hiking, they kept our car for three days at no charge and let us use the kitchen and shower. After our bike trip, Sasha even showed us how to rinse the bikes with a hose. It was so humid our washed clothes wouldn’t dry, so he fired up the sauna for free to help. The whole place feels warm and homey, with a lovely atmosphere and a river close by. We’ll come back when we’re in Putyla. Wishing you plenty of success and good fortune!

The owner is such a pleasant person, and the price is amazing. The rooms are warm and comfortable, with a lovely sauna smell. There’s a separate kitchen with what you need, plus a snug courtyard. Everything is surrounded by quiet and beautiful nature, and the river is just below.

We stayed two nights starting June 28, 2021, and had a fantastic time. The grounds are tucked beneath a cliff, with gazebos, swings, a slide for kids, grass and paths, a barbecue, volleyball court, and a river beyond. Parking is in the yard, and the Wi-Fi was good. Our detached two-story wooden house was clean and tidy, with good sheets and towels. We had a private toilet and shower, two bedrooms, a double bed for us and single beds in the children’s room. Each room had a TV, hangers, and shelves. Next door, the kitchenette had a stove, sink, refrigerator, plenty of dishes, two big tables, and another TV, so we could cook. The hosts were incredibly warm, suggested tasty meals, checked that we were comfortable, and helped us find a driver to the Pamir Mountains. Shikidym cafe is another option for food that’s both tasty and affordable. Come by, you won’t regret it!
