MK Hostel

The staff were very friendly, and everything was good. The hotel was very clean.

The photos looked okay, but the place was awful in person. The room and hallway stank, the receptionist was rude, and the floor was filthy. Everything felt disgusting, and no one responded to my complaint about the poor cleaning. This was during quarantine, when they were operating through the back door without masks or hand sanitizer. There was no safe distance between the beds, despite what we were told when booking. Drunk groups hung around late at night, and the soundproofing was terrible. For these conditions, the price of a double room was exorbitant. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

We booked a private room that the receptionist called “the best.” The photo says it all, nothing to add. At night, the street noise is unbelievable, so you can’t open the window. On Saturday at 9 a.m., they were cleaning something, and the vacuum sounded like it was in our room.

We paid 270 UAH for a double room, and the value was great. The kitchen, showers, and toilets were all clean, there was always hot water, and we never had to wait in line. The staff were friendly too. We'll stay here from now on. It beats some hotels!
